What to expect
A short, active break built around Kakum National Park. Walk the rope bridges 40 metres above the forest floor at dawn, then spend the day on the trails and cooling off in the water.

Itinerary
1Day 1: Into the forest
Drive from Accra or Cape Coast to Kakum. Afternoon nature walk with a park ranger, learning the medicinal plants and listening for birds. Overnight near the park.
2Day 2: Canopy walk at dawn
The canopy walkway before sunrise, when the forest is loudest and the light is best. Breakfast in the park, then a stop to swim before the drive back.
