Who We Are
A Ghanaian team, planning Ghana properly
Connecting Cultures. Creating Journeys.
Our Story
Why we started
OBAT started with a simple frustration. Friends kept flying into Accra with a long list of places they wanted to see and no real way to make it happen — overpriced drivers, guides who read from a script, half a trip lost to logistics.
So we built the company we wished those friends had called first. We live here. We know which guide to send to Cape Coast, which road floods in the rain, and which food stall is worth the detour. That's the whole idea: local knowledge, handled properly.

What We Believe
How we work
We actually live here
No call centre abroad. The people planning your trip are in Accra and Cape Coast, and so are the guides and drivers.
Honest heritage tours
The castle tours are heavy. We don't dress that up. We give you guides who tell the history plainly and space to sit with it.
Fair to everyone
We pay guides and drivers well and buy from makers directly. We never take a cut from a market stall you buy from.
Planned, not scripted
Every itinerary bends to your dates, your pace and your budget. A package is a starting point, not a cage.
Why Ghana
The gateway to the return
Ghana is stable, English-speaking, and welcoming in a way that catches first-time visitors off guard. It's also the emotional centre of the return — home to Cape Coast and Elmina castles, and to Assin Manso, where so many journeys began.
You can trace real history here in the morning and be on a quiet beach by the afternoon. That range — heavy and light, past and present — is what keeps people coming back.
