What to expect
East of Accra the land turns green and hilly. This trip is built around Wli, the tallest waterfall in West Africa, with time on the Volta lake and in the villages of the Volta Region.
Day by Day
Itinerary
1Day 1: Accra to the Volta Region
Drive east across the Adomi Bridge to Ho. Afternoon at the Tafi Atome monkey sanctuary if time allows.
2Day 2: Wli Falls
A guided forest walk to the lower falls, with a swim in the pool at the base. Afternoon by the Volta lake.
3Day 3: Return to Accra
A slow morning, a local lunch, and the drive back to the capital.
